Final Thoughts

My week of veganism lasted til Sunday night when I succumbed to a delicious bowl of Kraft Mac & Cheese (this company has the powered chemical cheese on LOCK). However, per usual, lazy-weekend-Kei neglected to write the final two blog posts. 2 weeks later and I can't recall exactly what was consumed on the last two days of veganism - just that it was slightly painful to watch people eat delicious dairy treats.

Overall, I do have great respect for vegans. I do believe that a vegan lifestyle is sustainable, good for the earth, and also good for us as humans. Countless studies and experiments have proven that a plant-based vegan lifestyle can heal people and even more drastically, reverse chronic health conditions. Now, going 100% vegan is really hard. And at the end of day, I still want to enjoy cheese, chicken, and fish in my daily life. But I think this week has taught me that I can find delicious, healthy, and protein-rich foods that are not animal-based. And that eating vegan a couple times of week is totally manageable and good for the earth!
